Ingredients

  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g Semolina
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 L Water hot

Instructions

  • In a pan add the butter and allow it to melt on low heat
  • Add the semolina and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes until it is browned
  • Add the granulated sugar and cook for a further 5 minutes
  • Add the hot water and allow the mixture to come to a bubble
  • Once it is bubbling cover and cook for 15-20 minutes on low heat
  • Remove the lid and then cook until the desired consistency is reached
  • Garnish with crushed almonds and pistachios
  • Your suji halwa is ready!
