Add the oil into a pan and heat on medium heat until hot then add the finely chopped garlic cloves and crushed ginger then sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant
As the chicken is cooking finely dice the tomatoes and add into the pan then cook for 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes become soft
Add the salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, Kashmiri chilli powder and garam masala then cook the spices for 4-5 minutes
Add the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes until the colour changes and the chicken releases water
Cover and cook for 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through
Add the green chillies and the tomato puree then cook the masala for 3-4 minutes until thickened
Add the finely chopped coriander and the dried fenugreek leaves then cook for 1-2 minutes
Your tomato chicken curry is ready!
