Ingredients

  • 50 ml Oil
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 400 g Canned Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Mixed Herbs
  • 500 ml Water
  • 250 g Rigatoni Pasta
  • 200 g Chickpeas

Instructions

  • In a pan heat up the oil on medium heat until hot then add the finely diced onions and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened
  • Add the finely sliced garlic cloves then cook for 2-3 minutes
  • Add the canned tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes
  • Add the salt, black pepper, paprika and mixed herbs then cook for 3-4 minutes
  • Add the water then bring it to a gentle boil before adding the pasta and covering then gently simmer for 15 minutes
  • Add the cooked chickpeas the cook for 2-3 minutes
  • Your chickpea pasta is ready!
