Ingredients

  • 1 kg Chicken Wings
  • 2 Garlic Cloves crushed
  • 4 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds toasted
  • 100 ml Water

Instructions

  • Crush the garlic cloves then add the soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, honey, salt and sesame oil then mix until well combined
  • Add the chicken wings and coat the wings with the marinade evenly
  • Set aside and allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably overnight for best results as this will ensure maximum flavour and juicy chicken
  • Place a single layer of the chicken wings on top of a baking tray with a wire rack
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) or gas mark 6 for 25 minutes
  • As the wings are cooking add the water to the leftover marinade before transferring to a saucepan then bring to a gentle boil and simmer until it thickens
  • Flip the wings over again and bake for a further 20 minutes
  • Add the wings and toss to coat with the sauce
  • Sprinkle on the toasted sesame seeds then serve and enjoy!
